Works Great! Rating:5 out of 5 stars I have both a PUR filter on my faucet and 2 Brita Pitchers. My wife and I both agree the Brita is the better of the two. Not sure why, the PUR seems to be designed with a more in depth filter, but the Brita water has a distinctive neutral taste that you expect from water. I have a good source from a deep well, but Iron Bacteria is a problem, and the Brita does a great job of filtering any odd taste out. Highly recommended. Ignore the bits of charcoal that float up, they never get through, and it seems it is just a part of the fine charcoal filter package. They do last the advertised time, and it seems a lot better way to do it, than to have mega piles of empty plastic bottles, and you don’t have to worry about plastic chemical leaching into the water you’re drinking. Cost effective solution.
